We believe in straightforward pricing. The fees below cover everything included in each appointment — there are no additional charges for consultation, diagnosis or treatment planning.

Appointments before 9am or after 7pm on weekdays, or at any time on weekends and public holidays, are subject to an additional charge of £15 per session.
When Chinese herbal medicine is prescribed as part of your treatment, this is charged separately based on your individual formula. Dr D'Alberto will always discuss the cost of any herbal prescription with you before prescribing. Herbs are sourced from pharmaceutical-grade suppliers and supplied as granules — a convenient and effective form that dissolves easily in hot water.
We accept cash, card and bank transfer. Payment is due at the time of your appointment. We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling — late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged at the full session rate.
This is a question we are happy to discuss honestly. The value of acupuncture depends entirely on outcomes — and outcomes depend on the quality of the practitioner. Dr D'Alberto's five-year degree, 25 years of clinical practice and specialist expertise in women's health represent a level of training and experience that is genuinely uncommon. Many patients find that a course of acupuncture achieves what years of other treatments have not.
